newbie here,
doin a mod on my 2005 renegade

i got a junk yard grille for $50 just in case i cant pull it off
so started with this

two major issues with the wrangler grille are it is not as wide as the liberty grille and it is flat as the kj grille has a curve to it
so i had to ad some plastic that i took from the remainder of the wrangler grille

no it is a method of plastic welding i used on a dash mod i did on my last vehicle
i use stainless steel corner bead for drywall and cut strips of the stainless steel mesh and melt it into both pieces being joined together for strength otherwise it woild just crack and fall apart

Angry bird lol that's funny.. I've only heard of that referred to as the Unibrow lol

please take them all.. most of the Wrangler guys don't even want those things lol I'm interested to see how it turns on a KJ with the finished product. Hoping it looks better then they do on the JK's

It's different. I have never seen one before so I want to see what it looks like finished.

There are uglier things people do to their vehicle than a unibrow (Head Light ''Eye Lids'') , this is coming from someone who kind of likes the JK Unibrow, gives it an evil menacing look.

i tried the black tape on the lens a few yrs ago. kinda blacked out the top 1/4 at an angle. looked kinda mean but i just couldnt get used to it. also blocked some of my light so i took it off.

I'll admit I've done my fair share of things that look cool but are detrimental to visual safety, with that I have learned and come to despise a lot of headlight mods that affect visual safety output, especially the stupid ricer JDM headlight set up. Actual JDM headlights are strictly RHD unless they're E-Spec which allows for adjustments to both LHD and RHD.

Might not look half-bad! At first I didnt care for it when mocked up.. the closer you get to finished the better it is looking.

Keep us updated on this for sure! At least if anything, it'll be unique. So long as you like it.
