XJ in amsterdam

On latest masterpiece theater on PBS the lead actor in van der valk blasts around in a dark blue or black cherokee after the facelift model whatever that one is. I guess that is a XJ? RWD of course but last night from rear view vapor was coming out dual exhausts at the corners. I have never seen a USA model with factory duals. Is this just goofiness by the TV producers or AI add on or am I missing something?

I just started watching it and was amazed to see the cherokee at all. My friend sends me pics of USA cars all over sofia bulgaria where he lives. One of his neighbors has a liberty. With one exhaust pipe.

Jeeps are fairly common in the UK, good alternative to the Range Rover my wife keeps nagging me to buy... she has a Jeep Renegade, they are really popular here.

In last night's episode a better but brief view of rear pipes was seen. They are rectangular in shape, not round and integrated into both sides of the bumper. The 4.0 emblem is clearly seen on left side of rear gate. The woman sidekick is constantly giving male lead grief about what a horrible stupid vehicle it is and telling him to get rid of it. Last night the engine quit while they were pursuing the murderer who was in a volvo wagon. She did something under the hood and got it going again.
