Starts, stumbles, and dies when warm

Apparently the ‘07’s don’t have an IAC? I cleaned the TB, and it wasn’t terrible. The MAF is dirty, and I don’t have cleaner for it. Spark plugs were eaten up, a bit. The gaps were all between .044” and .054”. The parts store is closed today, so I closed the gaps to .040”.

Starts, stumbles, and dies when warm

Just over 203k miles. I’ve never done a compression test, and I have not cleaned the IAC. Spark plugs were replaced 30k miles ago.

Starts, stumbles, and dies when warm

This has been an ongoing issue, but I almost missed my dog’s vet appointment because of it, yesterday. Sometimes when I’ve been doing errands, I’ll hop in to head out, and the engine fires, stumbles, and dies. Sometimes, I can save it by mashing the gas pedal, sometimes not. Any ideas on what...

I would recommend getting your AC system sniffed in case it’s leaking somewhere. It’d be a bad deal if the evaporator has a leak and you’re breathing it.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Yes, they do. My brother-in-law’s ex had one in hers for her daughter.

NTK/NGK I believe makes a lot of the electronics for the KJ’s, and that sensor is less than $40. Buy once, cry once.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I finally returned the core caliper yesterday. I got to my next errand stop, and I was punched in the face by the smell of burning brakes… Again… The opposite rear caliper started sticking. I got it swapped the afternoon, and I’m gravity bleeding it right now.

I miss my old lifted XJ. I also never had to jack it up for basic maintenance. It was lofted 4” on 31’s. Dad’s was 6” on 33’s. That one was too much for easy work. I needed a stool for working under the hood comfortably. My XJ was perfect, though. My stock XJ wasn’t bad, either. It was better...

What did you do to your jeep today?

No, just MN. It never budged, so I put it back together without the shoes for now.

What did you do to your jeep today?

This is my issue… Movable parts that are immobile… Joy oh joy! With how they’re seized, I’d have to pull the axle to get it out.

What did you do to your jeep today?

My brake issue came back, so I bought a nee caliper. It seems the real culprit is the parking brake lever on the passenger side. It rusted in the partially on setting. I’m soaking it in PB Blaster tonight, I’ll throw some heat at it tomorrow, if needed. Worse case scenario, I put it back...

What did you do to your jeep today?

I was unable to get to my brake issue, but it seems to have resolved itself. It must’ve been cold related.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I went for groceries today. When I got back, I got hit with the smell of burnt brakes. Rear left was hot. I’ll have to check it out further tomorrow. Maybe it’s a stuck pin.
