Really bad sound, is it the transmission?

My goodness that is quite the noises present there  Time to drop the transmission pan & inspect filter, see if there is any particulate matter in pan. Use ATF+4 fluid. May consider a trans shop that can read any pending or stored codes as well. Best of luck.

    Dyno Test

How much $ does a Dyno test cost? Generally only large horsepower engines are Dyno tested & tuned. I did find this thread KJ thread though. https://www.jeepkj.com/threads/kj-dyno-tuning.63078/

    Power Steering Fluid

Are you having to replace the whole rack & pinion, pump, return pressure lines etc? Probably ATF+4 would be the best option. After 2003 ATF+4 was used in the KJ's as the standard.

Thermostat housing leak suggestions on new thermostat, or temp rating

Use the mopar part number for the lower rad hose which is 55037912AA It is reinforced & wont collapse.

    Front impact sensor

What scanner are you using? 2002 is a very early model. What OBD2 codes are you getting? The dealer may still have a "star scan" scanner kicking around. Other than the star scan, the next Best scanner to use is a Snap On Modis Ultra.

Thermostat housing leak suggestions on new thermostat, or temp rating

Drain & Inspect housing first. Probably best to replace the lower rad hose & use the correct Mopar thermostat, which has the built in gasket.

    Speedometer Not Working

The 2 wires should then be fully inspected. Keep in mind wires are in between the split loom tubing. Are there any OBD2 codes present?

    Speedometer Not Working

Just above the rear differential, is where the speed sensor is located. The sensor may need replacement. It has a 2 wire connection, with wire loom tubing. A known issue and inspection for chaffed wiring may be present as well.
