Automatic Gearbox Problem.

Upstream vs downstream O2 sensors
LibertyTC provided the breakdown for the codes. Thing is, when I've had the rare fault code and it was related to the emission system, I've found a busted rubber emission or vacuum line somewhere ... replaced rubber hose piece, cleared codes and problem corrected. Upstream vs downstream O2 sensors
Never had to change one yet, but looked up the parts for my 2003 3.7L. The sensors have four different individual part numbers. Don't know what the difference is but if the illustration is accurate, the attached wiring harnesses are different lengths for one thing. Don't know if the part numbers...- 03GoingStrong

Wasn't present with the factory HU ... doesn't sound like a Jeep problem or one that can be fixed on the Jeep side of the wiring harness. What did you do to your jeep today?
After the rain this afternoon, I used some of that ^^^ Nu Finish Scratch Doctor on the plastic headlight lenses. Worked pretty good to clear them up ... somewhat- 03GoingStrong

What did you do to your jeep today?
Got after some light brush marks on the passenger side of the Liberty with mixed results. It didn't actually get rid of the scratches but did great on swirl marks and light paint oxidation and blended the scratches in. I'm happy with it but would have to bring out the heavy to get the scratches...- 03GoingStrong

Vacuum Line ID
Maybe is you loosen/remove that plastic shroud/conduit behind the coolant reservoir and shown at the top of the Haynes illustration, you might find an actual line that's supposed to be connected to the T ... or at least see a hole in the firewall where the line goes through. In a Haynes manual, I actually found a picture of the T you're talking about located behind the coolant reservoir. The picture is shown with the coolant reservoir removed. The line on the bottom is the one shown in the picture you posted. The larger line goes up and across the engine bay ... but...- 03GoingStrong

I'm no help. Sorry. I did go out and pull my coolant reservoir away from the firewall and found the T you are talking about and verify there are 3 lines hooked to it. There is a line as shown in the picture of your last post, a larger line that goes across the engine bay to another vacuum...- 03GoingStrong

What did you do to your jeep today?
Changed the oil. Usually go with Mobile 1 Full Synthetic 5W-30 but changed this time to Mobile 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W-30;. Yeah it may be a marketing gimmick, time will tell I guess and I think the Jeep 6 will forgive me LOL. It was the same price as regular Mobile 1 Full Synthetic and meets...- 03GoingStrong
