Anyway, here it is all standard looking just after i bought it. Need to get it looking a bit more aggressive but don't have huge amounts of money and i need to keep it practical for every day use as well.
So i found a place here that sells 16" modular steels at 7" wide with an offset of ET30. According to the chart that is just a tiny bit over 5" backspacing so they should fit just fine. The same shop recommended I put 235/70 Insa Dakar MT tyres and offered me a good priced package. Assuming...
So am I right thinking that 7" wide with 4" back spacing effectively gives 3" of outside dish with 1" outward poke compared to stock 5" back spacing?
I don't mind running 235's if it means a more comfortable fit

When you say 8" is too wide, are you referring to manufacturer guidelines for 245 tyres?
