    So am I right thinking that 7" wide with 4" back spacing effectively gives 3" of outside dish with 1" outward poke compared to stock 5" back spacing? I don't mind running 235's if it means a more comfortable fit

    When you say 8" is too wide, are you referring to manufacturer guidelines for 245 tyres? I currently have a set 235/70/15 Roadians stretched onto a set of 8.75" extended rims on my VW T4, manufacturer charts say no but in reality it's absolutely fine and there are no issues whatsoever. I...
