Lower Ball Joints and Front Coil Overs

You could make that work but it would be much easier if you could get the entire knuckle off and place it in a vice to use the ball joint puller/separator. The only other things prohibiting the entire knuckle removal is the CV Axle nut if you have a 4x4 and the upper ball joint. The CV nut is a...

Changing diff ratio on 3.7L Liberty 2002 model

I'm in the process of doing this very thing, I was able to source a local front axle assembly from an 04 2.4L through a local salvage yard. I had to order the rear axle assembly online from a salvage parts website its from a similar 2003 2.4L model. Both came factory with the 4.10 ratios and I...

    Lift on high mileage KJ?

Mudduck I just bought an 05 KJ with 162K for $3000, I just spent over $4000 on OME 927/948 spring set with corresponding shocks and struts, front and rear replacement axles with 4.10 gears, black powder coated MOAB's, and 4 new 265/75R16 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Yeah its crazy but I plan on...

    JBA rear springs

That's what I was afraid of. I want to lift as much as possible in the front but can't afford more than the ome struts and coils up front so I guess I'll just have to do 2 extra isolators on each side in the rear to level out I just wanted to try those jbas and not have to use extra isolators...

    JBA rear springs

Does anyone have any pics of a kj on the OME front springs and jba rear springs, I'm trying to decide too if I should run jba rear's tom said it will be between 1/4 and 1/2" higher in the rear. My previous KJ after lifted sat 1/2" lower in the rear and it looked level so if those springs are...

I'm sure Arkansas State has some sort of position in that area, they have a very large portion of Chinese and middle eastern students who could use a course or two!

    Questions About Lift

Do JBA 4" rear springs with stock isolators and the JBA Y-Link sit level with a OME927 over and OME HD Strut with 1/4" top plate and 3/8" clevis up front with JBA UCA's or will the rear sit higher with stock bumper and tire carrier maybe 150lbs of gear in the cargo area? And if I run JBA 4" rear...

    5 Moabs from 2004

Yep the market for them seems to fluctuate some I stole mine basically but I did drive 70 miles one way to get them. And they show their 11 years of age too but for the price I didn't care because that allowed me to afford powder coating which is what I wanted anyway. Besides someone should pay...

05 WK vs 05 KJ Motor, Trans, and Gearing

Are you saying my cousins wk has a 5 speed too? That would make since because I drove his with 32's and it still had plenty of power to haul the jeep its self around, now he said when he hooks to a trailer its done for but alone its ok and the 5 speed would make sense given that I determined he...

Suggested Torque Specs When Reassembling Suspension

Thanks for the manuals that's great info! As far as clevis bolt, both of my 05's have had the larger one but they were both manufactured in late 04 so that may be why.

Suggested Torque Specs When Reassembling Suspension

I'm planning out my build for my new KJ and while making my parts list I was wondering if anyone has any factory or self proclaimed torque specs for the bolts and nuts of the KJ suspension. This is my parts replacement list so obviously there will be a lot of disassembly and reassembly just...

    Anyone recognize this KJ?!

My cousin works at a local Chevy dealership and he sent me this pic yesterday afternoon said this KJ was looking at trading in on a new pickup. I don't like far from the dealership so I rushed over there to try to meet the guy and look over his rig but missed him. My cousins said he was running...

    New purchase questions

Not a terrible price for the mileage, check to see if it still has the full factory skid plate package, motor, trans, t-case, and gas tank they come factory on the renegade models.
