    cut down terraflex bumpstops?

    Don't feel bad. I have this slight knock up front, left side it seems to me, mostly when I take off from a stop. Doesn't really sound like an engine mount, but it could be I guess. Don't hear it over bumps. I do get a noise in back once in a while, which may be the boomerang.

    That much of a hit, doesn't matter what you are in, its going to hurt. Not many vehicles would have done better, if any. Now if it was a semi with a 53ft box behind it, you'd just pick up pieces of that guy and move on. Glad she was ok, hopefully she got a settlement out of it.

    First, does the engine get to operating temperature? If the temp gauge gets to the spot it normally gets to, usually around the halfway point, then that would be yes. Next, are both heater hoses hot at the firewall, when the engine is at normal operating temperature, and the blower is on high...

    LS additive in synthetic gear oil?

    If you have a LSD with clutches(most do), then I would add the additive anyways. I have found in the past the concentration of the additive in the gear oil is not high enough, or lasts long enough.

    Anyone ever use this gear ratio calculator?

    Yeah but you forget about the reduction the clutch slippage gives too,lol. My biggest issue isn't the lower gears as much as the upper gears. The top two gears are where I feel it the most now in the need to gear dept, and that's where the torque converter slippage is taken out of the equation.

    Why not try the local dealer? They stocked them when I got mine. I don't know if you'll save anything ordering online once shipping is figured in.

    Is it leaking from the rubber seal, or around the outer part of the seal where it sits in the housing? If it is the latter, might I suggest some aviation sealant to put on the outer edge of the new seal.

    Wandered down to 4wheelparts to pick up a strap and some D links, and show them what a real 4wd looks like, lol. Stared at the stack of Warn winches, and started having bad thoughts involving lightening my bank account and an ARB bumper. Better be good for a while longer.

    Did you inspect the short intermediate shaft for a groove worn into it? I used a seal driver to install my right side, and sourced it from the dealer. $15
