and this is off topic but it is truly disgusting how we can't rely on any manufacturers to sell quality, no modification, or get the consumer just past the warranty, junk. How buying American is near impossible. Pathetic. I almost get excited when I see Made in Mexico or Brazil as opposed to China.

I found an American made shovel today! I was excited. Sold! Good quality too.

I clean the inside of my jeep and did a "tommudd" rear bumper cut. I need a KK hitch.

Had my Service Department look at the Jeep for me today, its the Wheel Bearings on the front. That's the dreaded thumping noise, both front are bad the right one is the worst the left is just starting. So I'm going to have them take care of the right side, then later on in the spring when the weather warms up and it is dry I'll take care of the left side myself.

Flush, cleaned & conditioned the Trans and cooler with bg products and put in all new ATF+4 Trans fluid. After doing the Trans lines this week end by removing the crimps like Tjkj suggested in a post. Drove me crazy to do this. By the way worked out great Tjkj better then just cutting and flaring the lines IMO.

Ordered the rear wheel bearings and seals plus the gear lube and additive for the Liberty.
I was on my way to the dealership yesterday to get the oil changed and as I walked to the carport I thought how did a dog piss on the inside of the back tire?? Well it wasn't that gear lube on the back side of the dust cover and dripping down to the tire sidewall.
Yes I was playing Sunday afternoon, but I didn't think I was having that much fun.

I'll have to see if I can find it again. But just carefully cut the crimps down one side stopping just before the barb on the solid line rotated the crimp (they wiill rotate) cut down the opposite side stopping again just before the solid line barb and pryed the two side apart till the ends by the barb just snaped off. This left both solid lines intact with all the little barbs on it all the way up to the larger barb that will act as a stop when you put on the 3/8” rubber Trans cooling lines on. Then use a worm clamp to tighten the rubber hose to the solid line. I got the Trans cooling lines at Napa $4.00 @ft and got the SS worm clamps at the same time. I gotta say I did my Trans service at a Chrysler dealership that I have privileges and couldn't believe the crowed I Drew. And my favorite saying of the day is no it's not for sale. I kept thinking if Tjkj was here with his, there would have been a lot of dirty trousers.

Besides for what you showed in the pics will not work for a '07 with a stand alone trans cooler and not the in-radiator trans cooler.


To the OP if you can easily access the crimped ends of the leaking cooler lines(where the hard line and rubber line meet) you can use a cut-off wheel,or dremal, and carefully cut that crimp off.Do not cut the hard line and don't go to far into the crimp,just enough to reach the rubber line underneath.After the crimped part is cut off you can remove the rubber line,replace with new 3/8" trans cooler line(any parts store) and use hose clamps to secure as the hard line under the crimp and rubber line is barbed.

well that is something to take in to consideration, but with the amount i drive to work and the insurance only being liability, i fell like i will, especially because im still on my parents insurance, perks of being 18 :angels25: i only have to pay half, but right now i get a steady 11mpg and the camry gets 31-32 highway. i guess we will just have to see, not to mention it was a gradation gift.
