    Embarrassed & frustrated

Glad to hear people were helpful on figuring it out, they have been for myself as well, I've learned a lot on here. And that is terrible what happened earlier this year, my condolences, I hope with enough time things can get a little easier.

    Roof lights vs sun roof

My sunroof does have some wind noise as well with the interior cover open, can't hear the noise with the cover closed, no roof lights on mine.

    Old noobie buys a KJ

I ran into that problem with my tj few years ago. Went to the local parts store to get some temp ones like you, to find they've downsized their worm clamp selection. They moved them behind the counter, and had about 9 paper thin sizes to choose from. Then went to nappa as it's a little farther...

Door latch of Jeep KJ Cherokee 2004

It'll be hard for those to help on a visual problem, when there's no photos! o_O

    Back window will not close

I have to throw in my penny for thoughts about good ol wd-40. It's not an oil, grease, or lasting lubricant and shouldn't be used so. When it's all ya got with you, can help free stuck fasteners. Decent for some cleaning tasks. Great for water displacement. Excellent aluminum cutting fluid. I...

Curved Clutch Flywheel for CRD Only?

I'll be following along this one, curious to know myself. So far so good with my clutch but I don't believe it's been replaced prior to me owning my kj. I believe I remember someone with a nsg370 mentioning they parked theirs with it needing a clutch job, hopefully they see the thread and can...

    Diff and axle hunting

Thanks, good info, this will be something months down the road for me. I never planned on adding any limited slip thinking the price would be wild, but not as bad as I thought. Yeah, my brain saw spartan and went there, not knowing helical was the style of lsd. Really cool looking design, looks...

    Diff and axle hunting

Nice! (pictures link worked for me) Did you order your spartan helical for the front? I've heard they're pretty streetable when used in the front as long as 4wd is disengaged, I was considering going this route too. I don't mind some clicky-clack noises, when they're supposed to happen lol...

Is this area safe to drill?

The unibody really won't notice a difference. If you can I would try to find the next closest ground, and just extend the wire to avoid having to drill a new hole in the unibody, better threaded bolt in said area probably, and one area less to corrode. Any specific reason to choose there over...

Soon to be a jeep owner

I have mine removed bracket and all, but kept the studs there for easy reinstall if I were going on a trip or something. Some of my kjs use is handy work so I'm in and out of it a lot, or have it open for hours at a time, and I just didn't want all that extra weight on the hinges. Plus if I...

    Mods

One that I came across at a local junkyard, someone broke trying to remove, but I at least got to see how it went on there. From what I remember it had threaded stud rivets coming out the roof, and the wiring harness passed through a hole in the roof with a grommet. In the event you don't want...

Manual Transmission and SelecTrac (Full-time 4X4)

I guess I was too vague with my writing, but out of context it should of all been clear. That's where I wrote the "spacing" (top spacer / clevis spacer) will double, then I talked about the springs after, didn't mean to confuse anyone. Coilover shock will give their plain value of a lift, and...

Manual Transmission and SelecTrac (Full-time 4X4)

Awesome project, good read, glad to see you updated it as I missed this thread initially. From what I understand the front geometry, whatever spacing you add will double. I don't know springs by # for these vehicles yet, but if I had to guess the OME lift is giving you ~1.5" and you're getting...

2003 Jeep Liberty Limited 3.7 temp gauge, running rough when gauge hits 240.. but is not over heating, but it's throwing codes any and everything

If its not just a faulty reading, 240f is quite high, and these engines don't like getting hot. Lots of good info to search on the forums to check. -make sure all air is fully out of system, seems these can be tricky sometimes -make sure thermostat is in correct orientation, and is a mopar...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Dawn does get nice and foamy, I've found its a little harsher on the wax/sealant/coating, for me a good choice if I'll be stripping and applying a new coat of something!

    Brake grabbing

With a tough to troubleshoot problem, and how bad quality control is on parts, I always verify if the replacement parts are in working order. I've got enough bum new parts over the years to be skeptical.

    Sluggishness between KJ years

Pedal commander type things still won't fix the response time itself, but it does modify how the throttle responds once all the pixies finally communicate with each other, which may help you I can't say for sure. I bought one off amazon about a year ago for $60 and figured I'd give it a try for...
