    Help needed badly.

Contact some better yards. 25 years ago we knew better than to chop $600 cables on the dismantling rack. Do note that shifter assemblies differ between part-time and full-time. Not sure if there if there is a nuance year change also. I went from 2005 np241 to 2003 np242 and had to modify the...

    Standard flooded or AGM?

Not my experience by a longshot. (Generalized - not a dig at Odyssey.)

    Standard flooded or AGM?

I'm recently onto the second AGM in the jeep. Pro-actively replaced at 7yrs. Keep it as a shop battery till the end.

    Rear Cargo cover

I picked one up about 10 years ago - also ordered online. In hindsight, would not buy again. It is a small cargo space back there, so whatever I may be carrying rarely fits below the cover.

    Affordable lift kit suggestions

There is this knockoff of the Teraflex lift. But it only covers the front. 4runner coils can work in the rear if you cut a few inches of pigtail off. maXpeedingrods 2" Front Leveling Kit for Jeep Liberty KJ KK 2002-2012, Suspension Lift Kit for Dodge Nitro 2007-2012 SUV https://a.co/d/g3MhBGu

    Help with mystery front driveshaft

Because mine is cup-shaped (not flat) for the stock Liberty driveshaft. I also have a spare XJ tcase with a 4bolt flat flange.

    Help with mystery front driveshaft

Unless 02 was built differently, the tcase flange must have been changed to fit that double-cardan. Not surprising as XJ's used the same tcases and that joint. The shop was probably plenty familiar with these other jeeps - built a hybrid shaft and changed the flange.

Do I have the parts correct for my lift kit and what is the difference between front and rear height

RRO arms made all the difference for me - could not get aligned with stock arms after the teraflex spacer lift. RRO used to be cheaper than JBA.... like 10 years ago. My take is they are a near-identical offering. Edit: one of the challenges with lifting the KJ is it acts like a bit of a...

Need Help!! Bandaid alignment until professional one

Best you can probably do is dial the cam bolts on the lower control arms to "push" the arm outboard. It was not enough on our 2005. I had to get aftermarket upper control arms. Do get this solved promptly, or you'll wear your front tires crooked like I did.

Are non-ABS front hubs/bearings interchangeable, or are they left/right specific?

I have never tried it, but I would certainly give it shot if that's the pieces I had.

Swapping in another 05 KJ 8.25 - has no VSS.

05 is a split year for production; April 18/19, so it's not terribly surprising. A carrier swap is fairly forgiving on these diffs because of the screw adjusters. I'm not the biggest fan of trac-loks (poor experiences in Dana 60 and Ford 10.25") but I haven't been able to find a KJ without one...

Swapping in another 05 KJ 8.25 - has no VSS.

How about swapping the tone ring from your older diff, and drilling out the sensor hole (and install sensor)?

    Driving without front drive shaft

I would doubly recalculate for accurancy. If it was that significant on a V6/6spd I would have noticed. This is hotly debated in Dodge Ram forums, and consensus of perhaps 1mpg difference. The trade-off is having the front drivetrain stagnant and possibly seizing up from lack of use, vs being...
