    33-35psi for me, and routinely pull down 20mpg give or take .5.....I do about 80 miles round trip on the highway each day...the rest is on country back roads..so the stop and go is really at a minimum. Nothin fancy....regular size tires, tune up about 30K ago, run M1 Synthetic since about 10K.

    Agreed. Better test would be to hit it with a garden hose on moderate pressure. Also as a temporary fix until you can get around to having it looked at, you might take some silicone (i've always had good luck with the clear kind) and run some around the seal. I've had very good luck fixing...

    Spray everything with a good de-greaser and wash it all off. Then crank it up and watch for your leak. Like I said before, isn't an 08 still under warranty? I'd just take it to the dealer and let them deal with it.

    Might be the tranny cooler lines. A 2008 you should still be well under warranty. Take it to the dealer and let them handle it.

    6 years on the OEM battery! Consider yourself lucky! Most only get half that! I only got about 3.5 outta mine.

    Time for a new battery. Out of curiosity, how old is your KJ? Been seeing that the OEM batteries last from 3-4 years on average.

    possibly.....i'm not terribly familiar with traction control but it does kinda sound like a sensor deal. I take it that it was not driving funny or anything?

    If it's a sensor that's causing that, your check engine light would be coming on fairly quickly. Have you checked to make sure the fluid level is correct? How about the condition of the fluid? How many miles are on the KJ.

    Any traces of coolant seeping out from the water pump gasket (or maybe the weep hole if there is one on our water pumps, can't remember). How about around the radiator hoses, thermostat, and radiator itself? It may be a big enough leak for you to start to loose some once it's warmed up and...

    Overheating at Idle/parked, AC involved.....

    General rule of thumb: Overheating at idle, look at the fan as it's an air flow problem. Overheating while driving, look at the radiator and/or water pump as it's a flow problem. There are exceptions however... My money is still on a fubard fan.

    X2 on the fan. Should be on every time the a/c compressor is on, and/or when the engine temp gets to a certain point of being too hot.
