Running hot lately, dash temp guage climbing on hills
Update to this old thread: I had a crack in the radiator. Finally got bad enough to notice. Oh well, the original rad almost lasted 140K so it was due anyway.- smittyfromPA

It was at AOAA (Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area) in Shamokin, PA. Did a guided ride on green trails as it was the first time I brought my wife with me and our guides were two ladies so she saw its not an all guy thing. How long will a typical Jeep Liberty engine last?
I'm at 138K now and preparing for a 600 mile (round trip) road trip to the Bantam Jeep festival. Just replaced the alternator and I'm on my second water pump (first went at 65K) I've been really disciplined with maintenance and switched to synthetic oil. Whine when driving
Rear end whine Added a Track lock and 4.10 gears in the rear axle 38K miles ago and its whined ever since. I can usually find the sweet spot on the highway around 74-76mph where it quiets down. Diff fluid with friction additive has been changed twice since installed.- smittyfromPA

Its June 10-12 this year. I went last year but not in my Liberty, I was driving a friends Wrangler. There was one lifted KK there last year but all the rest were mostly stock KJ's. It was a good show, I just went for the day on Saturday.- smittyfromPA
