If you look up the KK trackbar bushing size it'll be the same as the jba bushing you posted above.
But again I wouldn't run it for rear uca bushings due to the lack of flex.
If you do want to get into repairing your own vehicle you can pick up a jack, jack stands, and a basic tool set for about $300. Most specialty tools can be rented for free from your local autoparts store.
If you're into electronic projects you could probably make a switching circuit with an arduino.
Also if the KK has the 42rle it's the same trans on the KJ.
Ordered a new set of snap ring pliers to finish the slip yoke eliminator install and a 5/8" reamer to open up the knuckles for over the knuckle steering in the XJ.
I would call and ask jba the width. The stock upper mounts on the body side are 2.65" wide and I believe a 9/16" bolt.
He can also tell you the rod thread specs.
The only thing I see is the end you posted looks to be for a trackbar and won't have much flex side to side just up/down. The heims...
What wiring would be needed? The 231J doesn't need anything wired into it. It's manually actuated by the cable shifter. If the speedo sensor is on the rear axle you don't need to touch it. Nothing in the front diff.
Use a 231J and a cable shifter. Not sure where the speedo sensor on the KK is but if it's in the differential or trans this would work. You would need custom length shafts made.
Anytime you run heims on both ends you will transfer road noise into the cabin vs a rubber or even poly bushing.
Because the JBA setup uses solid rod you may need to make your own upper arms to swap to a duroflex or Johnny joint. Unless you can find one that will fit the rod.
I'm building my...
Just do it on flat ground. Put Jack stands under the frame just in front of the control arm mounts. Put the jack under the differential. Take the wheels off and let the axle hang down a little but not full droop.
Then swap one side at a time. Don't torque the bolts until you have the vehicle...
A quick update. I received all of my tubing for the rear links.
The lower links are going to the stock axle mounts then to the mounts I made in the previous post.
Wasn't sure what I was going to do for the top but I've decided on using a Ruff Stuff truss and Ruff Stuff 4 link mount for the...
Received the tubing to make my rear 4 links. Went extra long so I can cut them down. 40" and 30" lengths of 2x0.25 DOM. Bottom frame side mounts are done. Need to get back under and figure out where I'm putting the upper mounts exactly. May just end up reusing the stock location but would like...
I just painted mine with rustoleum spray paint after cleaning with a red scuff pad and then wiped down acetone. Came out great. Looks 100x better from the drivers seat.
Still waiting on the tubing to come in for my KJ rear links.
So I started building the XJ. Had to up my jack stand game from to 2 ton to 12 ton for the height. From HF and they go up to 30". My jack doesn't go that high but I have enough room for the axles to hang.
Waiting for my new control arm joints and tubing. Tossed a quick coat of primer on the mounts. Going to drill them once I get everything in.
(don't pay attention to the running paint ;D )
Today I finished the assembly of the mounts. I just need to order the joints and tubing. Once I get home from work tonight I'll get them cleaned up and primed.
(ignore my ghetto muffler hanging down)
The width of the mount where the joint sits is 2.72" on one and 2.83" on the...
