    Transfer case/ front end noise

Maybe, just maybe the inner CV cup and intermediate shaft have developed a loose relationship. Seems, in my case anyways, that the intermediate shaft may round off it's end given enough time and start skipping splines in the passenger side inner CV cup. Your intermediate shaft may look like...

anyone replace a front wheel bearing yet?

My KJ enjoys an absence of ABS, both left and right hubs were the same PN. Easy enough job to tackle in the garage/driveway. The noise goes away when you turn because of how the load is presented to the bearing surface during a change in direction. If it's growling in the footwells when going...

    30,000 mile

Pretty extensive list, could learn to do it all yourself and save a butt load of cash. Not really all that difficult. I call bullshit on the chassis lube, unless of course they sprayed it with your used engine oil. All of the stock bits on a KJ are lube-for-life and cannot be serviced...

ABR bumper + winch, where to put clutch handle?

Ed Zachary. That's how I get to the lever on my M8000. No biggy. If it wasn't already dark out I'd go and get you a pic.

    Help! Canada - GEAR LUBE

Gallon jugs of Mobil ATF+4 at CanadianTire for $30. The wee transfer pumps should be in the sporting goods/marine aisle or not far from the oil filters/oil. Aisle 3. Ha. Is here anyways.

    Help! Canada - GEAR LUBE

Mitch, I don't have my owners manual real handy but I'm pretty sure that if you don't tow a bunch some 75W90 will be fine. Conventional oil has been around a long time and works just fine. Stick with good service intervals and I cannot forsee any trouble. Besides, if it's cheaper, changing it...

HOW TO: Change power steering high-pressure and return hoses

OK, so I managed to change my power steering pressure hose in about an hour. Got to the bracket under the headlight with a 10mm swivel socket, a 12 extension and some gumption. Didn't want to pull my bumper off. That would have been no fun. I didn't bend the bracket to transfer it from one...
