    New Owner-Couple of Questions

Is that directly from the magazine? Sorry, Jim's link didn't work for me from work. Man, I can't believe they screwed the years up like that. I know of a few '01 model year KJs on the other side of the Atlantic and as far as I know, KKs didn't show up until '08.

    Seat Covers?

Ha, my thread gets quoted. Cool. I'm happy to say that the seat covers still look awesome, haven't stretched out and are wearing really really well. I expect that they'll be there for quite some time. I will continue to say that it was money well spent.

Hey! I got a new Liberty ca...

Nice KJ Monster, has TBJ seen it yet, he's kinda partial to blue. Well, fanatical about it really. Welcome to the second coolest KJ site on the planet.

    what is our jeep worth

Drive that thing man. I would think that your Jeep gets lonely sitting in the driveway. Get it out, like kids and puppies it has to socialize.

    what is our jeep worth

Best advice I can give to search the local classifieds for similar Jeeps and price accordingly. In the end, regardless of what you may beleive it to be worth, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.

    New Owner-Couple of Questions

Seriously, WTF??? Shaggy, where did my post from yesterday go? I know I made one. Being censored sucks. So, here I go again. Welcome to the forum Hollombj. That's sort of what I had in my original post.

    replacing water pump

Jnaut, you shoulda seen my knuckles after I changed the serpentine belt out. Serious gymnastics getting it over the fan and around the pulleys. And um yeah, oil filter gets pulled from underneath, just like the drain plug.:freak3:

    replacing water pump

Dudes, I've got the HD cooling with the engine driven fan. The fan has to come out before the shroud will come out with the electric fan in it. It's a PITA and does require the 32mm(?) thin wrench.

    KJ longevity

Replaced the passenger side hub today. 136600 kms. Going to do the drivers side next week, heck at $165 for the OEM part I can't go wrong. Sorry Jayme, no how-to, left the camera at home. The job only took about 45 min and you don't have to remove the steering knuckle from the Jeep in order...

    Cragar soft 8's

Well, the Titanic was real and the Arc is just a cool story. Go with what you want. I'm OK with it.

    Cragar soft 8's

Because on Goodyear's web site the recommended rim size for the tire is a 15x8, not a 15x7. Some dude with a 40 lb head and a slide rule figured that 8" wide was the proper width. Who am I to argue with an engineer? And... I don't have that much experience running fat tires on skinny rims...

    Cragar soft 8's

I've got the 8" wide Soft 8s. Needed them to safely run the 31x10.5x15 tires that I've got. There is some rubbing at all four corners when flexxing but it's no biggy.

    KJ longevity

I called Chuck to see if he could spare a roundhouse kick, unfortunately he was attending to a prior engagement. So I punched my Hazard switch to get my left turn signals to work again. Looks like I may need a new switch assembly.

About to buy a Jeep Liberty.

You're only going to have trouble with it if you continue to call it a car.:disgust: I've got 80K miles on my JEEP and it's been as reliable as an anvil.

Lifted KJ for $5200 in New Jersey - CL find

Aaron, blueish books aside. Nobody pays more than what the market will bear. If something is published to be worth $x but the consumer is only willing to pay $y, then it sells at $y or it sits. The reality is that it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. No more. Can we quit...

    My New Brakes

Looks clean. Like everything else you post!! I'm thinking of cleaning mine up and coating them with the stuff VHT sells in a kit. Might take a while though and be a little more labour intensive. VHT says to take 'em off, clean 'em, spray 'em and then bake them, like cookies, in the oven...
