What is the name of this part and is it necessary?
It's a Jeep not a car and yes it is for fender support. I removed it after I bolted my fenders on and haven't had any issues but I do have the "renegade" style flairs.- Myke

Rear HD Control Arm Mounts + Adjustable Long Arms

Need advice, changing one front UCA bushing bolt
I would put a jackstand under the frame, remove the wheel, and let it hang. Then just do as you were planning with the screwdriver or a even better would be a punch that is just under the thickness of the bolt. Tap the new bolt in and push out the punch/driver. I didn't have anywhere to paint my hood so I built a foldable paint booth. Worked out great. Was able to hang the hood and didn't have to worry about wind, dirt, dust, etc. What's great is it is hot in there so the paint is drying super quick. It's 86° outside and probably 100° inside the...- Myke

Rack & pinion question
Also check the rear tri-link bushings and the rear lower control arm bushings if it isn't the rack bushings. An easy way to check the rack bushings is have someone move the steering wheel back and forth and see if the rack moves.- Myke
