Ok hear is the story. I was taking my hitch off and got all the bolts out but one. The head snapped off from the last one. Fast forward a bit and I was trying to get it out with a bolt extractor. The remaining bolt and nut ended popping out from their spot welds; I’m guessing that what holds...
It’s not that hard to do. Just drain the coolant out of the block by a plug and then you will have to knock out a casting plug to place in the heater in. I placed one in my KJ to easy on hard start ups. Plus I hate listening to the power steering pump whining in the morning.
This is the best part number that I could come up with 55156719AA. It says it is a clip for the front fascia. Best thing to do is go to the dealer and see what number they give you but that number would be a starting point. If it works out let me know because I need a few.
That ring and pinion are giant paper weights now. I would never place that in my car, maybe a buddy I did not like. ;) Just looks like someone beat the crap out of it when they took it a part.
Does it do it at all speed while you are stopping or only under a certain MPH? Check to see if any of your tone rings are cracked. I have seen them cracked just a bit before and it fools with the abs.
Changing the filter is a very good idea with the amount of miles you have on your rig. You could change the fuel pump out with a new one and it could die on you in a year. Why change something when there is nothing wrong. The one you have in there now might just last the life of the vehicle.
You’re going to have to put the car in neutral so you can rotate the whole axle assembly. You can’t do this in park because it will only more the side gears and not the whole assembly. Rotate the assembly until you can get to the bolt and the pin should fall right out.
sounds like you had a sticking TCC vaule, the flush and new filter helped. Shavings are normal due to wear. Chucks and pieces of parts in the pan are a sign its time for a rebuild.
Yeah it is on the back of the handle of the tailgate. It’s a little switch with about a foot long electoral line before the connector. I can't remember on that thought, it has been years since I had done the fix.
