Sand dunes, advice?
4X4 is not required I have seen 2 wheel drive work trucks rocken the hills. Been to silver lake many of times with my KJ. Air down to about 12 PSI any lower and you will blow the bead off the rim if you don’t have bead locks. Been up test hill many of times. I got pictures floating around...- JeepKj03

Have you ever slept in your KJ?
YEP I have slept in the old liberty many of times. Fold down the back seats and pass out. Lately I have been looking for an air mattress to set nicely in the back. It will save you money on a hotel if you’re on the road and only going to sleep for a few hours.- JeepKj03

CEL throwing some codes..
Check the hoses that route up around the battery and down the firewall down. Check for cracks and a good seal. It only takes a hole .010 of an inch I think the standard is for a large leak code to blow. Odds are it’s a bad hose. Also check the gas cap you never know. If not it has to be...- JeepKj03

Rear differential...No magnet
Yes it pulls the small metal shaving out of the oil. It keeps the metal out of the bearing and against the ring and pinion.- JeepKj03

Eh, I broke the KJ
I will tell you first hand to NOT solder it back on. I tried this with my grand am a few years back and it blew the back window out when I applied pressure to hold the clip on. Add Reverse light to Hitch & Or Trailer

The computer uses multiple sensors to check if the sensors are working correct. The intake air temperature takes a reading and if there is a difference it will blow a code. CEL for "small emission leak"
I had two evap lines that run buy the battery and go down by the fire wall on the driver’s side to replace. I had to replace the rubber lines because they had cracked by the connections.
