Engine light 2004 Liberty
I'd also like to mention that short trips can make the KJ unhappy as the stock pcv valve, can become plugged up with a yellowish foam. Best thing is to drive the jeep a bit further ! This is what my pcv valve looked like due to short trips in cooler weather. Are you using a full synthetic 5w-30...- LibertyTC

This code means that the engine did not warm up to 180 degrees in 10 minutes after startup. Could be the thermostat is stuck open? Try a new Mopar thermostat? Only use Mopar Hoat Coolant or Zerex GO5.- LibertyTC

Stop Leak question
Not good at all. No quick fix here. The leaky heater core is a big job & you don't want to breathe the misty coolant vapor. Make necessary leak repairs first. Don't drive it. Once you have a new heater core installed, then find a shop with a pressurized coolant recycling machine to get new Hoat...- LibertyTC

Had a relatively minor collision. Passenger side front wheel now has negative camber and toe-out. Trying to figure out what part (or parts) got bent.
Probably best to have an alignment shop inspect it closely.- LibertyTC

Hello, new here. I own a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited. I hit a deer and damaged the driver side front end. What years will interchange, just 05-07 ?

Really bad sound, is it the transmission?
My goodness that is quite the noises present there :eek: Time to drop the transmission pan & inspect filter, see if there is any particulate matter in pan. Use ATF+4 fluid. May consider a trans shop that can read any pending or stored codes as well. Best of luck.- LibertyTC

Welcome to the forums. You will need a high end shop scanner. Find a shop with a Snap On Modis Ultra. Have them search for any pending or stored codes, also while driving. Record and note any applicable codes.- LibertyTC

I have issues with some codes
Old ignition Coil packs? Standard Brand coil packs works well. What spark plugs did you use? Use brand NGK- ZFR6F 11G set gap at .040 inch- LibertyTC

2004 Drivers side leak from fire wall wire harness?
Water leaks are no fun. My KJ windshield was leaking on passenger side & failed the water test. Glass shop successfully removed glass & re sealed it & it still leaked.:eek: Then I ran a fine bead of clear GE silicone along the top edges & it stopped.
