Transfer Case or Differential?
cv joints binding.. it could be your cv joints binding. try it in dirt or snow. See if it still makes that noise. if it does?? :-/ hopefully it's just a cv joint caving to the pressure. while in 4 hi or 4 lo the driving surface must be somewhat slick to allow for the inequalities in...- wdwillson

Sorry ,, here's what I used ome 927's with bilstein 139168's up front ome 948's with bilstein 185660 (I think)in the rear.. if you buy these by the numbers, you'll also need the install kit because this ( rear number) is not the correct fitment for the liberty. 2006 jeep liberty help
I just finished my spring/shock lift for <700. 659.00 I think! I did a lot of shopping around. I added two clevis bushing for @ 10.00 each. it took about 8 hours total. The next one would take about 3ish. if you don't include the bushings. I had access to a lot of tools and I put the struts...- wdwillson

My noise has stopped,, after the alignment the noise was mostly gone. I removed the air intake box and retightened the strut mount nuts.. noise is gone! my alignment says that they couldn't quite get the caster into spec, I had the same problem with the last alignment. car fax said there was no...- wdwillson

I am at 21.5 inch x4. I didn't add anything else. (clevis bushings, springs,and strut/shock..) and a little blood and cussinging for atmosphere. no on the pinch weld. it must be under my fancy plastic? aahhhh may be the strut mount to chassis nuts.. no I didn't tighten any up after I dropped...- wdwillson

Well, my daughter wrecked the KJ
it doesn't look to me like she hit head on, but more sideways starting with the pass front? that may be why the srs didn't deploy.- wdwillson

I just finished a 927/948 coil install.. everything went as well as could be expected for my first real wrench on my 06. First side was a bear second side took 30 minutes if you don't include the clevis to lca bushing swap. I ended up using a ball joint press and pneumatic chisel. my...- wdwillson

What did you do to your jeep today?
As a result of poor planning and my parts guy not asking if I had a factory external tranny cooler, my Libby has its first modification.. I swapped radiators today. Pretty simple really, until you're looking for the hole that the tranny cooler bolt fits into.. yaaah for zip ties and old leather...- wdwillson
