Here are a few pictures I took. I did use the hitch mount points. I cut the drop plates on the stock hitch and raised the horizontal bar up to the height of the new bumper and welded it to the hitch on the new bumper. The bumper is tied into the hitch mount so it all comes off as one piece.
I ran 2x2 .250 into the "frame" and another 2x2 perpendicular under the rear bottom side of a winch plate I picked up on Offerup. I used 3 3/8" grade 8 bolts at the sides and 2 from below. I cut and added steel plate to give it support and look good for me. Just it for a few good pulls with no...
The vibration rattles the dash but got better when you replaced the rear driveshaft?
Do you feel the vibration in your seat?
Are you lifted?
It could be a worn out wishbone or bad pinion angle.
I haven't seen calibration done with 12oclockLabs, so here is some info for anyone interested in calibrating your speedometer. The calibrator can be found at 12oclockLabs website. The correct model is "U1" and cost $79.99 + shipping. I originally ordered the wrong one but the customer service is...
Did you end up replacing the fan? I had one that would work intermittently. Once I found it was the cause of my overheating I replaced it. I only ran it for a few months until I collected all the HD cooling parts. Now it just sits on a shelf in my garage. It's yours if you want/need it.
Up front I have OME 927's and Bilstein. In the rear I changed out the OME & Bilstein and currently running a shortened WJ Metal Cloak springs and 10" Fox shocks. The rear was too soft and bottoming out even at mild speeds.
I have a JK D30 with an ARB & 4.88, Fox coilovers and front link kit...
Is that the left rear O2 sensor? I had mine scraped like that from the front driveshaft because the wire wasn't secured. It kind of looks like the same damage and someone tried repairing it.
Everything turns out to be more work once I get started. At first I thought I would be able to use the factory brackets but didn't like the way they mounted. I cut off the factory slider brackets, flattened the pinch weld, welded four 1.25" .120 tubing to the slider and then to welded it to...
From the info on the add and a little searching, I believe it's an EAG bumper for an 07-18 JK sold on Amazon. It looks like the attached picture but the guy didn't have the tire carrier for it. Didn't matter much to me since I had the move the pivot to the drivers side to match the door swing...
Thanks. The rear was more work than I thought but it was $50 JK bumper on OfferUp and the perfect width. I decided to leave the front outer corners on until I have the time to finish it.
Been stalking this forum for a few years now and figured I should start posting and try to give back for all the great info. My Liberty has been a work in progress for quite a few years but I'm getting closer to my final goal. I'll figure out how to post photos if any of you are interested.
