Is this area safe to drill?

Back window will not close
Glad you solved your issue, on my 06 crd, I have had this happen to me but I used the key fob and pushed the window release and lock, multiple times. Worked. I have this issue when I don't pull door handle with some effort.- iceaxe1967

CRD Weak Brakes
If you have ABS this also needs to be bled. My 2006 has always had spongy brakes but I suspect the master cylinder since I can apply pressure and hold. The pedal slowly descends to the floor. Everything points that the master cylinder is bad- iceaxe1967
