KK off-road?
This automatic 2011 is my 2nd KK, former one was a 2008 stick shift. I put a 2.5" lift kit on each of them (Rough Country recently). The 2011 came with a full set of skid plates. If you had the heater core replaced, it does raise the possibility of damage to the HVAC internals, such as a blend foor or its actuator, or maybe an electrical plug has come loose.- kiwi_outdoors

Tipm to alternators has extra wire
From memory - one is a control voltage wire and one is a voltage sense wire - from memory (when my alternator was suspect). Not grounds.- kiwi_outdoors

2003 KJ 3.7L Spark Plug experimentation
I had neglected my plugs on the 2 years ago new to us 2011 KK with 81,000 miles. . 2 years later I paid the dealer $730 to diagnose and replace a coil and plug - due to arcing on the plug. Cooling fan issue
my sense is that the TIPM (black box) has multiple relays all identical - in a pinch borrow one from a less important circuit. They are NOT directional (truly). I went thru something similar last year.- kiwi_outdoors

what bushing - the 4WD shifting is all done out-of-sight - internal to the Transfer Case and electronic actuator. And BTW - how about posting up your trouble codes.- kiwi_outdoors

Emergency liftgate release.
BTW - that little port is for lock-unlock (I checked just now). That's all it does. You still have to operate the latch from outside the car.- kiwi_outdoors

Emergency liftgate release.
On my 2008 Liberty I (KK) had to install my own access port to that tailgate release. The 2011 (also a KK) comes with an access port.- kiwi_outdoors

Installing JBA Control Arms
FWIW - I did the 2.5" lift from JBA on my 2008 Libby. and never changed any control arms - its been fine, the subsequent wheel alignment was very close to factory after all adjustments were made at the tire shop. KK interior cargo dimensions??
you cannot lay a 4 ft wide sheet of anything flat, if thats your concern. A 2"x4"x8 ft fits if you pass it forward between the two front sets, or if your front passenger seat folds down then its easier.
