    Alarm problem.

    It does have the computer and info display above the rear view mirror. Is this what you mean ? Also, all doors lock and unlock. I would guess that a faulty switch would stop that.

    Thanks for the thread link. Sadly, neither of the suggestions worked, although I noticed they weren't specified for the KJ, but a different model. I'll see if I can find an alarm reset post for the KJ

    I've already deep charged the battery whilst I was sorting the alternator. I disconnected it overnight yesterday too. It's only at 10.5V cranking, and usually sits dormant at 12.6v.
