Take a look - it was just snapped in... Really tight. It didn't do much damage but you can see from the stress in the plastic that it didn't come willingly. My mirror was for-real glass. Don't get cut!!- Downtown

4x4 problem
The usual issue here is a contamination of the circuit board that lives inside the sensor. Look at page 2 of that how-to and you can see what the insides look like. The sensor measures resistors to determine it's position. Also, I was under the assumption that the Libby had different...- Downtown

Window - bad electrical?
The switches on the center console - they just pop out on my '04 By this I mean the bezel that contains the switches. You should be able to access the back of the switches from there. Check the wires inside your door too. I know that I almost clipped my wires about a hundred times...- Downtown

Has anyone tried these recovery points?
Those look awesome!! Looking at my hitch... If I used it for a recovery point, I would be OK pulling on it at it's rated load if I pulled straight in line with it. Not up, not down, and certainly not sideways. If I pulled sideways, it looks like it would fold like cheap lawn furniture.- Downtown

How about something like this? You can lock, pin, or bungee the action closed for safety. I used some 1/8" steel bar (1-1/4" wide) to mount them and create clearance between the rear seats and the shelf (for baby seat straps). Oh yeah - I bent them to about 20° The finished...- Downtown
