Could water in the fuel cause white smoke? After siting for a long time the fuel ought to have some sort of contamination.
Not sure.

You started with misfires but so far those are gone. Thing about misfire is they can be for a lot of simple things or the really nasty low compression.
Seen plenty fixed with a few parts top side.

Running smoothly now with just a dab of smoke to start with. Doesn't sound too bad, it is where you came from that confuses the hell out of me.

Leak down/pressure test will tell the story in detail. Just got one of these testers can't wait to try it out on a motor I'm rebuilding.

So I've put about 400 miles on it. No smoke. Did get a p0304 so I removed that plug and saw some oil coating the plug. Cleaned it off and all back to normal. So I'm just not rly going to worry bout it. As long as it's running fine. Just trying to figure out the whine while driving now.
