I have a 2004 Liberty 3.7 that has been blowing the radiator petcock completely out. New water pump and just did a head gasket job. Can anyone give me some insight on why it's happening? TIA

Stant 16# cap, new thermostat, bled the air. It's the push and turn plastic petcock. I'm at a loss.Welcome. Are the threads stripped inside or on the petcock side?
Did you bleed air out from hex screw at top rad hose?
Have you replaced the thermostat with a New Mopar one?
On the coolant reservoir cap, how many psi is stated on cap?
It has the plastic push and twist petcock it feels tight and has no play in it at all.I had a petcock blow out of my radiator and i fixed it by replacing the radiator. All it takes is someone to cross thread the petcock then it will never go back in properly. I currently run a all aluminum radiator with a metal petcock now.
Yes sir. Ionly use mopar parts.Did you use a Mopar thermostat with the gasket built in, w air bleed/ and correct orientation?

Thats actually my next step. You could test the system with a cooling system pressure tester, you can rent one at most autoparts stores.
