Problem has just started. I have "experimented" some and I am getting a vibration from the rear (not in the steering wheel) at any speed over 60mph when I let off the accelerator. If I press the accelerator down again the vibration goes away, until I release next.
I am guessing this is drive train related, like a U-joint or the like, since it only happens when you decelerate. But a quick check of the rear drive shaft did not reveal any loose or damaged u-joints that I could see (well tires were on the ground, have to try again without any load on that drive train).
This is a 2WD situation. And there is 2.5" lift on the car, has been for 8+ years, and never had this problem before.
Any ideas, things to check?
