20" Bosch Icons. I put Rain-Ex latitudes on my tC just to try them out. They seem to be doing OK. I had some Trico blade on prior to the Bosch blades and they wore out bad in about 6 months.
20's didnt lose contact at the ends or hit anything?

18" blades work best on a KJ.

I have had pretty good luck with the Michelin Stealth wiper blades they sell at Costco up here for $10/Blade. Blades seem to usually last me about a year but we get a lot of snow and ice and my vehicles see a lot of dirt, dust and mud!
I run just plain steel frame 19" Rain Xs. Seem fine to me, did the beam ones for a while but thought they looked aftermarket since that's not what the KJ originally had. Bothered me for some reason.

Bosch Icon are very good. Lately I've been getting bosch clear advantage at rockauto because they seem to be very similar design but a lot cheaper. I just stick with the 19".

No loss of contact but they're a bit wobbly. Think I'll come down a size when I throw new ones on.
I get 1-2 years of the the 19" bosh icons. It is surprising how well they work even with packed snow & ice...
I did rip one lately cause it was frozen to the windshield.I lifted the arm up like I was a gorilla.
I now let the windshield warm up until their unfrozen now. lesson learned.

has anyone tried silicone blades?

I am using the cheaper 19" rain-x with the steel frames. They seem to last a year or so and mine need to be replaced again. I tried the expensive Michelin ones and they didn't last any longer.
I don't have good luck with mine lasting much over a year. They get squeaky and streaky....LOL
Now the back one is a different story. Got an OEM 11" replacement at the dealer a couple of years ago and it still works good although I hate using it. I was having trouble finding an 11" one and just went to the dealer and it was around $12 or so but I don't know the brand. It was in MOPAR packaging.
This is what I think. Between the angle of the windshield letting the sun beat on it just right, and the snow and ice in the winter they aren't going to last anyway no matter how much you pay for them.
With the rear one, the window is at a different angle and I don't think the sun gets to it as bad and it is not used as much as the front ones. But who knows?
I just replace the front ones when they get squeaky/streaky and I just get the metal framed rain-x ones. They are not expensive anyway.

I'm disappointed a set of wiper blades if I don't get 2+ years from them. The steel ones I have now are on their second winter, still work fine, probably will replace them whenever the paint fades on them.
I had a set of Bosch Icons on the LR3 that I just replaced in December...there were from summer of 2012. Put a set of Marathons on it so I hope I get the same almost 5 years from them.

I did try them about 3 years ago. They were fine but not really any better than the Bosch ones that I normally use, and didn't last any longer - in fact I recall they may have worn out a bit quicker. I don't think that they are worth the extra cost.
Yeah, can't even refill them anymore.

ran 20's for 6 years. As for snow, thats what the brush is for. Once its clean 20's work great.
I think the rain-x ones I got at Walmart were less than that apiece. Some others were 2x as much though.
I remember when you could just get the refills cheap and just feed them in.....LOL

Just switched over to 20" blades on the front. Forget the brand name (Onyx? maybe) but picked them up at Advance Auto for $25/pair after rebate/coupon. They are the newer style blades and have a little flap to apply pressure to them when you're driving. They are completely silent.
