2006 JK Rear Backing Plates

I have a 2006 Crd. The rear break backing plates are rotten. Will the backing plate from a KK work in place. Does something have to be changed?l

Not sure, KJ backing plates are available but they are stupidly expensive for what they are.

Ya!! That is the reason I'm looking to the KK. I'm sure they bolt on but there may be a lot of change to make them work. Could be worth it.

I have a spare plate in my workshop if you need any measurements. I was toying with the idea of making replacements for mine out of 2 steel disks welded together with beads of weld for the shoe contact points, then I bought an axle with two good ones...

It's a KJ one, can't remember what side, I'll have a look tomorrow.

Looking online the KK plate is very different, I imagine you would have to transplant the whole rear brake system. The pictures below are KK backplates from Ebay.
