Hello, First time ever on a forum so sorry in advance for this particular train of thought. But here's to all the fabricators and theorists if you have a great idea. I'm in possession of cheap cheap cheap liberty KK with great bones. I have zero attachment to this vehicle. My use will be trail rig. The idea is 3inch lift, 31-33s, body and bumper fab to clear the meat, skid plates to counter the horrible under body clearance. I understand that 33s need a 6inch lift and 4inch needed for 31s but this is not a daily driver and this is not winning any competitions for best looks or fitment. The need to knows are; will this unibody have enough meet to fab for such use, are the control arms and spindles strong enough to withstand the same battery a SFA comes across, is the front diff strong enough to put up with said abuse, does this model have enough suspension travel to not blow the struts through the body. I can fab plates and fenders and supports where needed but cost has to be reasonable enough to not just scrap this idea and start with a tried and true XJ or wrangler. Again this is a toy and thoughts and suggestions should be tailored to this idea over "doing it the right way". Thanks to any and all that provide suggestions and experiences.

The body is very ridged but to lift 6" you will probably run into problems with the front axle shaft CV angle unless you drop the diff to compensate. Don't know how strong the front diff is, allegedly they were reinforced and stronger than the KJ one.
There's loads of information on here, have a read through the old posts.
