I bought a Jasper reman 3.7 engine and transmission for my Jeep Liberty, They have approx 15K miles now. Is it feasible to remove/install them into a Jeep Patriot I am considering buying or a bad idea?

Anything is possible if you have time and skills, however the whole driveline would need to be swapped out for that I would think, the Patriot 4x4 system is totally different and much lighter duty.

The Patriot is a transverse front wheel drive setup, whereas the Liberty is traditional rear wheel drive. Those are pretty different.

Thats a good call. The patriot platform isn't the best choice for much of anything. They aren't terrible, but its meant more as city driver that sometimes hits a light forest service road. For the fewest headaches another vehicle that had that engine would be idea.
