AC/off on all settings!

Hey i just did the "tape trick" for my AC...read more about it here ..."http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26491"....


It works great and i love the fact i will save tons of gas during the winter months, and also the cooler summer days using any setting I want. I just tapped the circuit starting on the #2 path and tapped it up with UPS packing tape all the way! Follow the link to see what I mean on that. No AC compressor turning unless i push the AC button!

Be sure to run your AC at least once a week for 15 mins or so to keep everything oiled up and freely moving,or you might spend more on the fix than you save in gas.

That is 100% correct.Before they started having the A/C on for certian settings(besides helping defrost way better) the rate of A/C compressor pump seal failures was high,after the seals lasted longer,hence makeing the A/C run a little during the winter.

Oh and the MPG difference is so small why bother?
