Aftermarket radio fascia frame

Hello all,

I'm considering buying one of these aftermarket radio frames to house an Android auto unit.

Wondering if anyone here has given it a go and is worth the $$$?

I bought the exact same radio fascia on Amazon when I was installing an Alpine ILX-W670 head unit in our 2009 KK. That fascia is complete crap! It’s very thin plastic and heater/AC Vents don’t fit it properly and the fascia didn’t fit the dash well either. I returned it and got a double din install kit which ended up to be much better! Save your money!

Thanks mate.. was literally an hour away from wasting my money.

Do you mind posting pics of the end result?
I'm being persuaded into getting a 9inch unit.. but I'm not willing to obstruct any dials.

Here is a pic of the end result. I replaced the 12V accessory plug with a USB port which connects the IPhone to the stereo and also charges the IPhone. I also installed a back up Camera too. Sorry for the picture quality but it’s night time when I took them.
