mine has improved too, but i think it may be due to the seasonable weather around here. warmer air provides better gas mileage (to an extent) and the nice 70* weather around here that we have had allows for driving without the A/C. all of that combined provides better fuel economy than cold weather driving, or extremely hot driving.

plus, your fluid changes probably didn't hurt any. :)

Don't the fuel oil companies change the fuel formulas from winter to summer? I imagine the octane stays the same but the additives they add/subtract may affect your fuel mileage.

Also I've heard that switching to a synthetic lubricant will improve gas mileage and synthetics can be bought for everything from the engine bay to the rear axle.

I've heard it from reliable sources that you are nuts:p
