Hello people....it's me again....I have another problem....I have a battery light coming on . I changed the belt and it went away. When I changed the belt I checked the ALT pulley...no play...no noise....seemed OK . So I pull out the multimeter and its 14 + but as soon as the A/C clutch stops..it gradually drops to 12 + and as soon as the clutch kicks on it goes back up to 14 +. Now here's the twist...oil light comes on...????....then both lights go out. 5 minutes later the battery light comes back on . So I check the terminals on the battery and the ALT...everything is clean and tight. So I'm familiar with the term fusible link but have no idea what to look for...I read on here its inline with the red cable but if that was the issue would I be getting a 14 + reading on the multi....and then there is the oil light issue at the same time...??? I am hoping that the oil light coming on at the same time might make the issue more obvious??? I did notice one other thing which I have no idea if its related....when the engine is warm and its idling it seems like it wants to stall. I can't believe how for years no problems and and now all of a sudden it is raining cats and dogs . I diagnosed the coolant leak and the oil leak...timing cover....its going in this week because that is beyond my capabilities...5 hour estimate..$550 +taxes if all goes well and now this....help!!!...please!!!...

If it's charging initially then the fusible link is intact. Sounds more like a faulty clutch pulley or alternator brushes.
Hopefully the oil light is caused by the voltage drop as it happens at the same time. Jeeps are very sensitive to low voltage, all sorts of strange electrical issues appear, might also be the idle issue.
