I'm not sure about the kit quality, but for that price, you can get OME springs which I do know the load ratings for, and you can customize your spring rate (stock, medium duty, heavy duty). This allows you to go stiffer up front for example if you plan to add a custom bumper, which would add weight and cause a stock rate spring to sag quickly.

You can get a set of springs for about $320. And for the top plate, Boiler (a member here) sells a plate for I think about $40/pr. These add about 3/8" to the top of the strut assembly, giving the front end a leveled off look.
Then you can customize your shock selection. Most of us used Rancho RSX shocks, but they discontinued that line. Now members are going with Bilstein, which from what I've heard, is really the best shock on the market these days. I also saw where OME came out with a new sport shock. Not much info on those yet, but still another option.
I think if you look around here...you'll see that plenty of us newer members started off asking lots of questions, and we all finally decided to go with some form of an OME lift.
The biggest decision is whether to go heavy duty or medium duty with your front springs (I think the general consensus is to ALWAYS use heavy duty rear springs). It all comes down to what kind of ride you want, and what you plan to do in the future (bumper, winch, etc.)
Me personally, I put the medium duty springs up front so my springs are 926/948. I like the ride. Not too harsh, but a HUGE improvement over stock. Plus I gained about 2" lift over my stock sagged springs.
Do your research and make sure you're happy with your final decision. That's about the best advice I could give you.
