best place to mount a....

I cant remember if i asked this before. If i did just delete the thread.

But...

Does anyone know where a good place to mount a fobus in the front of the libby is? there no room in the glovebox or center console for a full frame pistol.
Id like something under the drivers seat that i can reach while seated but i just cant wrap my brain around this one.

I live in a Concealed Permit carry state, so replys talking about the legality of this arent needed. I can carry.

I never thought of mounting mine in the jeep. I just wear it. If I don't want to wear it, I have stuffed it holstered between the seat and console butt up, but I wouldn't leave it there if i got out of the jeep. That was not convenient. Sometimes I just wear it in a shoulder holster under my jacket in the winter. Otherwise I prefer a Bianchi pancake holster.

I don't know where you would mount it in the jeep and I wouldn't leave it there anyway.

there are times when i go into banks and other places that prohibit firearms, so its necessary to leave her behind.. ( friends houses who arent cool with firearms)
thats why i have the need for a hidden but accessible place.

9 times out of 10 mine is on my person too.

You should move to Vermont where it is practically legal todo what ever you want with any gun you can buy. Hand guns are legally allowed to be concealed except to law enforcement. Hand guns can be loaded cocked and ready to fire with safety off sitting any where. You canT go into Federal, State or School Buildings everywhere else if perfectly fine. That being said I would maybe get a smaller hand gun for the car that can fit in the center console. Or rig on a holster next to the seat to keep it from any kind of moister around the floor.

my wife was looking over my shoulder while reading this and sais "mount the fobus to the right hand of the seat between the seat and the console, and keep it covered witha towel when not in the car."

You Americans are so lucky!
I wish we here in Canada could carry a hand gun!
Now the Canadian Federal Government are entertaining the thought of banning hand guns altogether!

I guess I'll just have to hack the barrel off a double barrel shot gun!
That and modify a Remington Riot Master pump action to hold a few more shells!

Sometimes I really think Canada ***** shit through a straw!
