Both Bank 2 O2's bad??

For awhile now Ive had 0137 but when cleared, it wouldnt come back for awhile. Now i have 0137 and 0157, banks 1 & 2 down stream O2's low low voltage. Anyone ever have both 02's go bad? They dont come bad immediantly nor at the same time. Takes a few trips to make them come on.

Is bank 1 the drivers side? So bank 1 sensor 2 would be drivers side downstream?

Yes bank one is drives side
So if you have 1/1 and 1/2 they are both drivers side

Thanks tom. Ordered two bosch downstream sensors. Got an email a few days ago from rock auto, sensors were on closeout. Backed with a 5% off coupon they were almost 50% off over napa. Satisfied with that.

Hopefully its not something odd kicking a check engine light for both downstream O2's.

Had this happen on my Mazda, replaced both sensors which worked for a while But it ended up being a bad Cat.

Return the bosch O2's and install the correct NTK O2's(made by NGK and OE O2's for KJ's).You most likely will get the same codes again by using bosch O2's since they do not switch fast enough for Chrysler PCM's.

Thanks tjkj. Canceled that order with rockauto. Didn't realize that ntk were stock. Dealer on ebay has them for cheap with free shipping. Probably order those.

Found 2 brand new ntk sensors on ebay for $25 each. Lowest price i could find. So far the check engine light is staying off so we'll see!

You'll generally get a P0420 and P0430 for cats if they are bad. Your codes generally point to worn out O2 sensors. Now it is possible that the bad O2 sensors are masking a bad cat. When I say that, when certain codes set, other codes are not allowed to set. If the PCM sees O2 sensor codes on one bank, and the O2 sensors are also saying bad cat, it will think its due to bad sensors and ignore the cat code. Once the O2 faults are fixed and cleared, you could see a cat code set then. With a scan tool, you can often see this developing before a code is set. With the later vehicles you can look at mode$06 and see how close it is to setting a P0420 or P0430.
