07 Liberty paint bubbles with rust where roof line meets top of windshield. Interior water leak during heavy rain. Worst is drivers side , for now.
What can be done? TIA

That is what killed my KJ …

I cut out all the rusted metal sealed it the best I could with rust converter and Por 15, and used bondo to fill the voids. Finished with bed liner. It gave me maybe an extra year but rust never sleeps so it eventually returned and the bondo cracked. Admittedly Bondo was not the best choice as it was not flexible. In the end it became a safety issue as the windshield is a structural part of the KJ … couldn’t take the risk.

Sorry for such a depressing response ;) Yours may not be as bad, getting a look under that paint is your first step.

Remove the headlining and see how bad it is inside, the roof seems to rot from the inside out, you may be able to treat and seal the inside to gain a few more years, but for a permanent fix its a window out job so it can be cut and welded.
