been noticing some wandering , alignment was done less than a month ago but im going to have it checked again. Rear UCA is bad so maybe thats the cause ( soon to be upgraded ) , would front lower ball joints cause this ? i ordered moogs and will install them just because

How is your steering rack and steering rack bushings? Just put a new rack in mine, difference is unbelievable. Check your tie rods too.
rack bushings are fine , ill have to check again. actually not sure how to test steering rack ? have to do some research

definitely no sounds, ill have to get it cleaned up good and monitor for leaks....really hoping its not the case. Rear boomerang is pretty shot but replacing it with the IRO soon, i have a feeling thats the problem but ill just have to see.
Is the steering tight?
its decently firm, no different from the day i got it. Its more of feeling like have to keep it in the lane when going straight , just wandering haha.... sometimes more noticable than others. if i hit a violent bump or dip it gets pretty squirly also

KrisP mine is like this too but I think all the bushings are worn up front. Does your rear end kick out when the rear goes over a hump? Mine started this years ago but is worse now.

yes the rear acts funny over bumps, i know for a fact the rear UCA is shot, i am starting to hear the creaking ball joint. I am replacing it the the IRO wk arm with flex joints. I wasnt sure if that would cause wandering or not.
all bushings in the front LCAs are new and JBA UCA are only a few months old. Steering still feels firm lke the day i got it, and replacing the front lower ball joints soon also.

Caster reading left and right? Tire air pressure?
3.9 L&R caster , at least it was 1 month ago when i got an alignment. I plan on having it checked again when they replace ball joints.

You'll want to get this replaced before assuming it's anything else. When mine was bad, the rearend was squishy and would sway badly if you cut the steering wheel right-left even slightly. It handled like a boat.

You might want to hold off on IRO. Right now both my bushings got shot within three months. I have a line out to them to see what I can do for them. Hopefully there is a Moog equivalent.
And by shot I mean the sleeve completely separated from the actual bushing material. I can move the arm with my hands WITHOUT moving the Jeep. Rocking the Jeep back and forth you can see that arm move around the bolt hole.
I will be posting a review about this later once I tweak a few things and make sure that it's not my set up that's causing it.
is this with the rubber bushings ? they offer all flex joints now which is what i have

My angles haven't been exactly correct so I'm not surprised and not asking them for a warranty replacement.
You need an open mind my friend. As you know SOMEONE has to do the testing for this stuff so it becomes widespread.
Dare to be different. Not everyone can know Marlin personally and have access to testing his gear. I wanted to originally do his 4 link because I know it was tested and true...but since my Jeep is no longer my DD I can play around with a few different setups.

Even with shot rear UCA bushings, didn't get a wander. Main symptom was jerkiness on accel/decal because the diff pinion could move up and down.
I'm thinking worn TRE's... angle from lift probably factoring into bumpsteer too.

Been following on fakebook, worn out bushings in no time it seems on the ones that have installed that setup.
Just stating whats out there , I keep up on everything new that comes out no matter who is making it/ using it.
I would like to know if the Grand owners are having the same wear issues.

Have to remember that I was invited up to the BDS build shop when they were finishing the KJ.
Discussed KJ/KK lifts with the owners while I was there and why they didn't produce a better kit than they do, in talks now with another suspension company.

i know some of the wk guys had bushing problems also, its why they offer flex joints now. my only problem is no matter where you drill and tap in the zerk fitting theres no way greese is getting in the joint. That may solve itself once they break in.
