I have a 2003 jeep kj stock suspension and I would really love to get a lift but I do not have the money for the fancy frankenlifts or skyjackers. What is the best possible bang for your buck on a lift kit for my jeep? (preferably not a spacer set)

OME 927 and 948 springs , bilstein shocks , teraflex front bumpstops etcI have a 2003 jeep kj stock suspension and I would really love to get a lift but I do not have the money for the fancy frankenlifts or skyjackers. OME 927 and 948 springs , bilstein shocks , teraflex front bumpstops etc
But you will have 750-800 bucks into it
Skyjacker do not use, nor Rocky Road
It cost a few bucks to do a lift, no cheap alternatives to do it right
Junk, not a real liftWhat do you think of the Rough Country 3in lift kit?
Junk, not a real lift
but if you like to waste money, go for it, will look good for a couple of months
ONLY ONE worth doing now is the OME, period
Not trying to be a jerk, but have removed almost every brand of spacer lift out there, including RC, would not give you a nickle for a whole truck load.
I've done 60 or more Liberty lifts 98% of them have been OME with either Bistein or OME shocks , rest of the lifts were jeepinbyal adjustable coilover lifts or other brands customers talked me into installing like Rustys etc that had to be removed.
I've personally ran an OME lift for 100,000 miles before switching over , they ride and handle better than new stock.
My 04 I bought brand new, had a OME lift on it before it had 20,000 miles on it due to terrible ride and handling
How much lift do you want?
inch, two inches, 2.5 inches, 3 inches ?????
2.5 works good over all, I have a 2.5 on my 03,What would you recommend for highway driving? I will be taking this jeep to college but the drive to that college is three hours across the Flint Hills to WSU. I know I definitely want a lift, more than one inch.
2.5 works good over all, I have a 2.5 on my 03,
but have also DD'd my 04 for years with 4 inches of lift, but can not go that high anymore
So 2.5 like mentioned above wil give you good ride and handling
will lose some power and mileage with 245-75-16s but overall good
OME 927 front and 948 rear springs with either Bilstein or OME shocksWhere can I get I get a proper lift that's 2.5in like that?
Funny , at the very start of this post it lists everything , reading is very importantWhere can I get I get a proper lift that's 2.5in like that?
OME 927 front and 948 rear springs with either Bilstein or OME shocks
can give numbers of shocks when you know which way you are going
Rear bumpstops are 2 hockey pucks per side bolted down to the lower spring perch. Drill hole n center of spring perch before installing new springs, install the spring then reach through and install the hockey pucks. This is addition to the stock bumpstops, front use Teraflex bumpstopsI want to do OME 927 front springs, with Bilstein shocks and 948 rear springs, Where is the best place to buy theses, and do I need special rear bump stops (I do plan on replacing the rear bump stops regardless of a lift or not because they are not in good condition)
