its actually a spray tint, called NiteShades
its liek $10 a can and you do a couple light coats depending on how dark you want and do a couple coats of clear.
I actually did my taillights on my XJ and just used the extra to do the marker lights.

By law in ohio you need atleast some white and some red showing, so i just used some cheap suction cups on them
Some can get it looking real glossy and its looks really good like this one:

I like this a lot. Got instructions?

http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25559

You can use some leds (I like genuine superflux leds for beam angle and brightness) or you can use standard courtesy lamps and if you are worried about the power they draw you can install a relay. I have some red superflux leds that I plan to use once my lazy butt gets some more perf board.

m_vol: that looks great

I am assuming he used that how-to as a guideline. There are many possibilities to what you can do with the interior lighting. Seeing his picture all lit up has me thinking of scattering my leds throughout the jeep to light up the cargo area, floor boards like M did (that is his secret agent name I just decided to give him as a result of me having too much sugar in the past hour:D). I am just too lazy and get too involved in what I am doing to stop and take pictures along the way but I hope to do it someday soon.

It's a FireStik II 6" triple wrapped coil w/adjustable tip. It's great for the trail!!

Okay... I'll come clean. See the explanation below the pic.

I only run a CB when on the trail. After the run, I take the CB out and 3' FireStick II off. I put the little stubby in to keep water and other crud out of the exposed fitting. I made it from an old antenna I had laying around.... Wow1.gif ;) :D
