Weee, it warmed up a bit (-25C/-13F) and my MIL indicator is no longer active. *Cheers*

You were probably out of acceptable range it was so cold, and it assumed the sensor was bad. Common in GM's, the temp sensor goes bad and the vehicle thinks it's negative digits F.

It doesn't freeze, but it gets so thick that you have to literally crank it as hard as you can with both arms to get it moving. I mean serious cranking you have to do. Never move the jeep out of a tight parking space before you can fully move the wheel, especially when it's almost frozen.
It was -53 with windchill two days ago, I checked and even places in Antarctica didn't have a higher temperature with windchill, coldest place was Mayo, Yukon and we beat that temperature by a couple degrees.
Prairie winters.
I also got that high pitched noise, the jeep ran at -49.

Just wanting to make sure everyone knows this, Wind chill doesnt effect anything that is already the same temperature as its surroundings.

Very true, however, I'd think windchill can be a large factor in a vehicle attempting to warm up. It may not drop the temp any more, but I could vertainly prolong warmup (especially with something like the winds we had in MI this past week!).

My Mother-in-law,father-in-law, brother-in-law(Waste of Oxygen), and sister-in-law all live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and this past week they were graced with -52 degree Celsius = -61.6 degree Fahrenheit!
No, that is not a mis-print!
Sis-in-law couldn't plug in the block heater on her 2008 Chevy Cavalier due to not being able to park in her diveway via the un-plowed back-ally. Non the less, the car started without so much as a hick-up!
Right now it's -24 degree Celsius = -11.2 degree Fahrenheit!
Still BRRRR Cold, Makes a grown man feel likes he's 9 years old again.
