Data finder

I am looking for some sort of dash mounted or minilaptop type software equiped piece of electronics that I can use use to give me Data as I drive. Things like water, air, oil temp, mpg's etc performance... I would also like to be able to read trouble codes and erase them too.

I have seen really nice units for over $600.00, but I really can't swing that right now.

Anyone have anything like this? Or know of something acceptable? fyi I don't have a smart phone.

Allot of us Canuks use the Autel 4 in 1 **** Trip TP100 on board computer.
It connects to the OBDII port and offers a host of features.

Just as an FYI, I have ours mounted with Velcro right in front of that little cubbyhole by the cigar lighter. It has a plugin on the back of the unit so the data cable is not seen at all. Fits well and looks like it belongs there!
