Does this have everything i need to lift my jeep?

I have also been reading that if i get the Daystar 2.5" lift kit i should change out the rear shocks. Its that true and if so what shocks should i be looking at and do i need anything else? And on a side note, has ayone smoked out there tail lights and does it look good? i have a silver 03 KJ Reneage with 20% tint all around and thought it would look sick if i smoked out the tail lights. Any suggestions?

for starters, use the search button all these questions have been answered a million times. daystar is a budget kit that can come with problems. if you want to do it right for a decent price get a OME kit. it will be more but yoy will be getting all you need. as for tinting the lights i plan to do that as well, it does look real good.

Read this thread over on Lost that I started. It explains the Daystar Kit.

I have one. I like it. I still have stock shocks all around. I would suggest going ahead and upgrading the shocks when you do it though. Since yours is an 03 your stock springs and shocks are probably shot. In that case, OME is probably the way to go...

from what i've read the budget boost kit from daystar works but kills the feel and handling and does wonders for throwing ur stuff out of alignment. when i do it im going to go the whole 9 yards.

I have to disagree. I have the Daystar kit installed. It does not kill the Feel and handling. Not sure where you heard that. With the new top plate that they supply, you actually have the same "feel and handling" as stock. Aside from just being taller, it rides the same. Alignment... You are going to have to re-align after installing any lift. Depending on how good the guy is that does your alignment, they can usually get it all back into spec. They can always get camber and toe into spec, and if they really work on it, they can get the caster in too. But the alignment issues are with ANY lift. The taller the lift, the more difficult the alignment. But there are plenty on here with taller lifts than just a daystar, and have not had any alignment problems...
