Recently installed the daystar 2.5" lift on a 2007 kj sport and the driveshaft angle is at about 13 degrees and it keeps making the u-joints go bad. Are there any ways to fix this or has anyone else had this problem?

So you think its the lift causing it?
I've ran with way over 2.5 inches of lift ( 3.5-over 4 inches) for the last 175,000 miles and no issues. Replaced two sets of u-joints, first set at 55,000 miles, second set at 192,000, now at 198,000
Most times its only after installing a lift and you've had everything running at one plane for 100,000 miles or so and then change it , then you'll replace them.

With only 1 to maybe 2 inches of real lift I doubt its the height
How many times have you replaced them ??

Im not sure if its the lift causing it. just saying that the angle of the rear driveshaft is way too much and it is causing the u-joints to fail every 5,000 miles or so. since the lift was put on last year in june we've had this problem and they've been replaced 3 times

All the lifts we do are set up at 3.5 to 4 inches of lift , we have never had a issue with the driveshaft angles/ u-joints
Like I said I highly doubt you have much over 1 to 1.5 inches of real lift ( over new stock height due to sagging suspension) so angles can not be that bad at all.
Is the Daystar the only thing you are running along with stock springs ?
I mean you are not trying to run aftermarket OME etc along with the Daystar are you?
What height are you sitting at middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare?

Have u checked your rear lca bushings and uca bushings/bj? How about driveshaft balance? U mentioned your driveshaft angle at 13*, but that doesn't matter. You want 3* or less of seperation between the tcase output angle and the pinion angle. To an extent your driveshaft angle doesn't matter if your pinion and output are within the 3* of each other. Are u getting any vibes? 99% of the time accelerated u joint wear is accompanied by vibes. Do you have one joint that's wearing faster than the other? A bad output shaft bearing or pinion bearing can eat seals and u joints for breakfast
