Engine swap

I have a 2003 Jeep liberty 3.7 engine and transmission with 77,000 miles I am wanting to put into my 2007 Jeep liberty same engine and transmission but one has (2007) electronic throttle body the other doesn't is it possible to swap these 2 engines and transmission? If so what all would I need to do to make it work with the 2007 computer?

Ok this is for a 2003 to a 2007 now I just need to figure out 2007 to a 2003 is the one replacing it. From what I gather the rings no matter what way will have to be changed now I wonder if I am going to have to take other parts from the 2003 and replace the 2007 parts to fit the 2003 engine. Starting to think I will just remove the engine and transmission from the 2003 and only use the transmission from it till I get the rings and Haynes book to replace it and what ever else I need to before dropping the 2003 engine in. So I was told the 2003 transmission is just a swap for the 2007 transmission should work fine with the 2007 engine is that correct? Thank you

Depends on when the 03 was built
They switched in 03
Plus get a better manual than Haynes
and yes you would swap parts from 07 to the 03 motor you are going to use
