my esp/bas light came on today. has anyone had this? I turned off the car and back on then it was gone.

Geeky......I don't have that stuff in mine, but if the light went out you should be ok as long as it doesn't come on again. If it does, you are in warrenty with an 06 MY.

When you say it came on, was it blinking or did it the stay solid? If it was solid, you might have hit your ESP button on ur wheel column and that would have turned off the ESP. It blinks when it controls your wheel spin.

that night i had the libby facing the wind, when i did my first start the next morning the light came on. turned off the libby and back on. Didnt do it again. Im assuming its cuz the jeep was so cold.
The ESP/BAS light is in the upper left corner of the console.. not the squiggly line ESP light..
It hasnt come back since so im assuming it was just a fluke.

ohhh that light. I forgot that about one. It could have came on because it wasnt ready. My girlfriends Benz does that with the abs. If it not ready, the light stays on until it is.

like if a sensor or something is too cold and is not responding so it turns on that light to say ( im not gonna work yet) ?

Thats how it works really on her cars. And for the record, my KJ has more options than her two Benz. She has 1981 Benz 300CD and a 1985 Benz 300E. So the cars are not up on the times. I have trouble driving the 300CD because the dash comes down to low by the petals and when I switch between gas and break. My foot gets stuck between the flow and the bottom of the dash.
